Driving scenarios include safe traffic following practice, passing passenger cars and large trucks with opposing high speed traffic, confronting road hazards, diagonal and parallel parking, emergency braking, driving in heavy urban traffic, night driving, right turn into oncoming traffic, freeway entry and exit, driving in fog, and others. The BRDrivingSimEXMK model allows the user to switch from automatic to manual transmission with the click of a dialog button. The EXMK model has also the option of driving either a passenger or a delivery truck similar to those used by commercial couriers. The combination of transmission type and vehicle type allows driver exposure to four unique combinations of transmission and vehicle selectable through the use of a single dialog window. Instruments, turn signals, engine, horn and other sound effects are simulated. Users can select 2-sec or 3-sec following rules. BRDrivingSimEXMK has been designed to be used without a need for the PC keyboard. Simulator controls such as Pause, Help, etc. are accessible directly from the Logitech G27 wheel/shifter unit.
