Abstract

The anthropometric data for the fingers of children available for use by Designers was, following an incident in a local school, found to be limited, over twenty years old and not from the UK population. This study sought to update that information. Data is presented for the overall hand length and the dimensions of the middle and index fingers for 351 children, between the ages of 6 months and 7 years.
