Report No.: R0301201 Cost US$16.00 File Size: 430 KB Abstract Twenty four dimensions of the right hand were measured in a sample of fifty female Indians. The means were compared with those of similar measurements in females from Hong Kong, Japan, U.K., and U.S.A. (Air Force and Vietnamese sub-populations), pub1ished in the literature. The results indicated that most hand dimensions in Indians were significantly smaller than those of Hong Kong, U.S. Airforce, and U.K. females. Vietnamese Americans and Japanese showed the least differences from Indians. Differences were greater for finger depths and breadths than lengths.
